The TW Solar 455 W has been designed using Multi-busbar,  technology, which has resulted in more than 5 W more output power and Half-cut technology, which has reduced power loss, giving an additional gain of between 5 and 10 W at the output. An additional solution was also used to increase the efficiency of the module, namely High-Density Encapsulation, to obtain a gain of 0.15%. Compared to typical PV modules of the same class, TW Solar is second to none.

The TW Solar 455 W is constructed from 120 monocrystalline photovoltaic cells PERC housed in an anodised, lightweight aluminium alloy frame that is corrosion resistant and covered by a 3.2 mm thick glass panel with high light transmission. The glass is coated with an anti-reflective (AR) coating and is thermally reinforced. All this adds up to a 12-year product guarantee and a 25-year solar power guarantee.

The 400 mm (+) and 200 mm (-) leads from the IP68 junction box are terminated with an MC4 connector. The module is certified: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
