With the innovative Tigo TS4 platform, for the first time we can equip each PV module with an additional function. So, if one, or more, panels are cyclically shaded, apply, Tigo optimizer ,works with any inverter!!!
The optimizer shown, comes with a set of cables, terminated with MC4 connectors to connect the panel and create a further row (string ) of panels.
Manufacturer’s warranty: 25 years
For proper operation of Tigo TS4, no communication is needed. In a chain, modules equipped with Tigo and without Tigo can be connected – thanks to PIV technology (prediction of the IV curve of the module based on historical data), the optimizer will select the impedance of the system. However, to be able to have an emergency shutdown of the system (e.g., during a fire), and wanting to monitor the system, communication devices are necessary.
